Shanghai NSE successfully got order of electrical control system for “ZY-1” 3000HP Modular Drilling Rig

In Oct Shanghai NSE signed contract with Scivita Inc. (Beijing) to supply electrical distribution and control system for “ZY-1”3000HP Modular Drilling Rig. The scope of supply includes Drilling Frequency Conversion System, Drilling Control Console System, Low-voltage distribution system and the other equipments. Shanghai NSE has taken an important step in supply package of electrical control system in the offshore industry. The full set of equipments will be delivered to Tianjin Zhongji Equipment Manufacturing Co., Ltd in April 2014.

3000HP Modular Drilling Rig is made for PEMEX. The rig will be mainly used for well drilling, cementing, workover etc., which shall adapt to the weather conditions of Gulf of Mexico, and meet the requirements of the latest MODU, IMO and API environmental and safety standards as well as other environmental and safety standards issued by the government of Mexico. The drilling capacity and the nominal drilling depth of the rig are 3000HP and 25000ft respectively.
